participating ANNUAL meeting in person

We will provide a large room for the onsite participants who would like to join the online sessions, as well as the local events that are taken place at the conference venue, International Conference Center Hiroshima. We will accept at most 70 participants in the venue.

ENTERING JAPAN

Entering Japan is not so easy now but the border control has been loosened recently. Because the tourist visa and the visa exemption have been still suspended, visitors should get a short-term visa to visit the venue and join the local events in person.

According to the regulation, we need to set your duration of stay from June 2nd to 14th. In short, you will have three days each for staying before and after the conference, respectively (if you have additional business schedules, you may extend your stay for several days). Visitors from the visa-exemption countries in the past need to submit to the Embassy or the Consulate of Japan a visa application form, your valid passport, and a piece of your photo in addition to the certificate of your registration for the national system to manage the international visitors. Our Professional Conference Organizing partner will accommodate your trip. Please read the "How to Apply" page and contact them and us!

Please note that nearly all Japanese people still always wear masks in their daily lives, even without any legal regulation. They are sometimes sensitive to people without masks. We expect you follow the regional customs or habits when you visit the other countries (not only Japan).
